The People’s Assembly held its national conference on Saturday, with delegates from groups around the country helping set up some amazing plans for 2016. But before we get to that, here’s a few things happening this week:

Stand Up To Racism – 7.30pm Monday 7th @ Friends Meeting House

A week ago, York saw off an attempt to hold a ‘No To Refugees’ demo, with over 150 of us occupying the intended site of the demo before the 20 who showed up without banners or flags appeared. Given the rising tide of violence against refugees, Muslims and other minorities, its time to get organised on this issue.
